Growing up in rural Scotland, Daisy Cooper was heavily inspired by the natural surrounds and rustic magic of the countryside. After moving to Melbourne, Daisy channelled those influences into a range of gorgeous handcrafted ceramics. Fashioned in her studio in Brunswick, Daisy Cooper Ceramics bare the marks of the making process, resulting in unique pieces that add a warm charm and a bucolic bent to one’s home. Daisy Cooper Ceramics are favoured by chefs and have been featured in a range of cookbooks from all over the world and it’s no wonder why – each lovingly crafted vessel and plate is made with patience and care.
Daisy fashions her ceramics using authentic hand-building methods – pinching and coiling her clay, shaping it into the interestingly shaped products available for sale. The range of wares includes a host of handy pieces such as tumblers, plates, tea bowls, salad bowls, jewellery dishes, salad servers, ring fingers and more. Of special note is Daisy’s River Collection – each piece is designed to placed side-by-side in any order to create flowing, river-like patterns. Pieces are available online through Daisy Cooper’s website and also through Lily & Fig Boutique.
