Follow your nose to Flour & Bloom’s new Camp Hill store

Southside flower lovers are sure to be familiar with Flour & Bloom. The quaint boutique florist set up shop in Tarragindi a little over a year ago, brightening days with its vibrant selection of blooms and house plants. Pretty quickly, however, the Flour & Bloom team outgrew that space, leading them to find a new floral trove in Camp Hill Marketplace.

As you meander through Camp Hill Marketplace, a plethora of aromas will allure your senses. There are sweet treats, flaky pastries, sizzling karaage and, most recently, the sweet scent of flowers, thanks to Flour & Bloom. Flour & Bloom’s new space is three times the size of its Tarragindi predecessor, and the team has certainly put it to good use. The store is abundant with blooms, with everything from native wildflower bunches and peony posies to sprigs of cotton and eucalyptus spilling out of vases and vessels.  In addition to the vibrant array of flowers, the Flour & Bloom team hand selects an ever-changing collection of lush indoor plants, which sprout from pots and baskets everywhere you look.

The new store also means more space for Flour & Bloom to expand its selection of Australian and New Zealand homewares and gifts, including pots from Pebble & Rock in Ballina, cushions from local Thread Candy, Church Farm General Store handmade soaps and Posie candles from Byron, Therapy Kitchen products from New Zealand and more. Flour & Bloom still delivers around town from Monday to Friday, with daily-changing blooms and custom-made bunches. The ‘flour’ part hasn’t been lost either – on select days you can still pair your posy with a brownie or doughnut to make it extra sweet. Be sure to swing by Flour & Bloom on Saturdays for its Market Day – the florist’s forecourt overflows with market-fresh bunches from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm.
