Furniture and homewares haven Freedom is putting Australian design at the forefront of its new product range – which has been 12 months in the making – creating a selection of trendy yet affordable products suitable for the laidback Aussie lifestyle. The brand-new furniture and homewares range is designed and curated by none other than Kate Hopwood – the mastermind who oversaw the revitalisation of Kmart’s homewares offering, transforming the once-daggy retailer into a mecca for charming things we don’t necessarily need, but always seem to buy anyway.
Must-peep pieces in Freedom’s new range include linen upholstered sofas (that can be custom made in more than 66 fabric options), dinner party-proof timber dining tables, Turkish rugs and colourful cushions printed with patterns created by Melbourne designer Rose Mears. There’s also Portuguese dinnerware, stylish lamps, eye-catching wall-art, pottery pieces and a chic outdoor decor range.
Want to take your interior decorating game to the next level? Freedom’s new homewares and furniture collection will arrive in stores this month, just in time for a spring redecoration. Someone please restrain us.
