Haven at Gasworks announces some tasty vendors for retail offering

If you’ve been living under a rock, allow us to lift it up and give you the good news. The Gasworks precinct is about to get a few new faces in the form of Betty’s Burgers, Salt Meats Cheese and Newstead Provisions. Fittingly named Haven, the foodie and apartment development will offer shelter for hungry wanderers and locals.

A few weeks back we jumped for joy when we heard that Betty’s Burgers & Concrete Co. and Salt Meats Cheese would be opening locations in Brisbane, but now we are giddy at the news that the two foodie hotspots will be practically neighbours! Haven – a luxury apartment complex currently under construction in Newstead – has revealed that it will be the site of a premium food and beverage precinct as well as several retail and showroom tenancies. Situated across from the Gasometer on the corner of Skyring Terrace, Reddacliffe Street and Cunningham Street, Haven join the Gasworks to create an inner-city hotspot for diners and shoppers.

In addition to Betty’s Burgers & Concrete Co. and Italian providore Salt Meats Cheese, the team behind Jocelyn’s Provisions will be opening Newstead Provisions, offering a range of baked goods and sweet treats. The Haven apartments will feature 220 luxury abodes as well as a collection of penthouses. The precinct is slated for completion in 2017. Keep your eye on The Weekend Edition for more news pertaining to Haven’s retailers.
