Go off-grid in your very own tiny holiday house just 2.5-hours out of Brisbane

We've been stuck in isolation inside our homes for what feels like forever but now, restrictions have eased and Queenslanders are free to travel within Queensland – hurrah! If the thought of trading four walls for rolling green hills and untouched wilderness (with limited-to-no mobile reception) sounds like an excellent idea right about now, In2thewild's tiny holidays offer a refreshing break from civilisation and could be just what the doctor ordered. The company's latest tiny house, Norah, is ideally situated on a property 2.5-hours out of Brisbane and is their first off-grid offering in Queensland.

Norah is everything you didn’t know you needed – she is an escape from your iso-prison, she is fresh air and freedom, she is an invitation to relax and recharge, she’s quiet and she’s available to rent now. Named after Norah in Mary Grant Bruce’s Billabong series, the tiny cabin is perched on a sprawling property just 2.5 hours north-west of Brisbane in the Toowoomba region with views to the mountains. For those who can’t resist a little adventure, a one hour hike will take you to a stunning lookout that is perfect for sundowners and a picnic but otherwise, there’s nothing to do other than unwind, talk, play games (that don’t require a Wi-Fi connection), sit, read and generally relax.

In2thewild Tiny Holidays offers relaxed luxury experiences across its stable of off-grid, sustainable tiny houses ranging from Shoalhaven in New South Wales to Macedon Ranges Region in Victoria. Closer to home, Toowoomba region’s Norah is suitable for four guests and features a queen bed cornered by two large windows so you can soak in the stunning view whilst tucked up in bed. There is also a double bed in the loft, a full bathroom with a toilet, hot shower and basin, a heater for those cooler nights and air conditioning for the warmer days, and a fully-equipped kitchen with plenty of space to move around. Outside you’ll find a campfire and a barbecue, seriously, what more could you need out of life? Tiny houses are powered by the sun and gas bottles, so don’t expect to charge your laptop or plug in any appliances, but there is a small USB charger that may work if the sun is shining! In2thewild’s Tiny Holiday house Norah is ready when you are.
