Kate & Kate is spreading the love with its new collaborative collection Carnival

With the advent of autumn it’s time to start thinking about our cold-weather comfort strategies. Sisters-in-law Kate Pascoe and Kate Pascoe Squires are a dynamic duo that produces beautiful Australian-designed textiles and furnishings that are the lush touch we need to rug up. Kate & Kate has teamed up with interior design stars Arent&Pyke to design a new collection of brilliantly patterned wares that are launching this month.

Australian summers don’t often provide suitable blanket weather, unless we’re talking about picnic blankets – and even then going outside (in the sun) can be an ordeal. Just in time for cooler days and colder nights, Kate & Kate is set to unveil Carnival, its latest collection of blankets, throws, table cloths and cushions designed in partnership with Arent&Pyke. The interior design firm of Juliette Arent and Sarah-Jane Pyke boasts a stellar portfolio of interior design work, making this partnership a veritable match made in (a perfectly decorated) heaven.

Carnival aims to celebrate the act of coming together – across a dinner table, at a casual picnic or in the lounge room. Boasting luxurious cottons, wools and linens, the Carnival range features geometrically patterned prints across the likes of alpaca blankets, large linen table cloths, tea towels, linen and leather cushions and hand-woven bed spreads. Head to Kate & Kate’s website for a closer look at the range and get your orders in before it ships in early March.
