No stranger to the area, the new development – Le Bain – will be the sixth one from Cavcorp in the Newstead/Teneriffe area. The company is also responsible for Kurv, 10AK and Y43 in Newstead and The James and Como in Teneriffe, and has recently submitted the development proposal for its latest project, situated at 16–20 Wyandra Street, Newstead. The ten-level Le Bain will comprise of 21 one-bedroom, 57 two-bedroom and 14 three-bedroom apartments.

Designed by Orbit Architecture, the building will feature a unique curved facade, with key design elements including architectural trellis and differing materials, colours and textures. Landscaping will carry through both ground and podium levels, with the development including ground-floor courtyards, and Le Bain will also include a communal vegetation garden, swimming pool, sun deck and gym.
