Ovolo The Valley brings quirk, colour and creature comforts to the party precinct

When we caught wind that a brand-spankin’-new Ovolo Hotels project was popping up in Fortitude Valley, we could scarcely contain our excitement. The award-winning boutique designer hotel company has finally unveiled its latest project, and you’d best believe it lives up to the hype. Ovolo The Valley has opened its doors as of Wednesday November 28, bringing a slice of quirk, colour and unparalleled comfort to the bustling cultural precinct.

In homage to its surroundings, Ovolo The Valley is a whimsical oasis that places high emphasis on creating a full cultural experience. From the custom wallpaper to the eccentric furniture and bespoke curated art throughout the space, every detail has been considered to reflect The Valley way of life – with the volume turned up to 11. Critically acclaimed architecture firm Woods Bagot took the lead on the project, imbuing its unique vision across the entire hotel. It’s not just the accommodation aspect that has us giddy – there is also an exciting bar and restaurant concept destined to open in early 2019, led by renowned chef and restaurateur Justin North. Stay tuned for details on that one!

Ovolo The Valley is made up of a whopping 103 guest rooms, each as unique and fabulous as the next. There are five types of rooms from the comfortable short-stay medium style right through to totally baller Rockstar Suites (kitted out with a king-sized bed, loads of luxe amenities and original artwork by Daniel R. Watkins and Gerwyn Davies). Guests can enjoy a host of creature comforts such as 24-hour room service, large flat-screen televisions, Google Chromecast, additional wall plugs, phone chargers in every room and Amazon’s Alexa cloud-based voice service. The hotel also boasts a lush rooftop pool that looks over The Valley, a gym, a sauna and a unique meeting room with the prestigious title of B.I.G.

Ovolo The Valley is open now – to experience all of this goodness for yourself, book here.
