Oxy set to be a breath of fresh air for Stones Corner

A new nine-storey apartment building will add a touch of contemporary class to the suburb, which is expected to be one of Brisbane’s next boom areas.

Stones Corner residents will soon see a new beacon of modernity rising in the suburb as Oxy Apartments starts construction. R&W Projects, Lantona and Ellivo Architects are undertaking the Oxy Apartments project, constructing a stylish building that will boast a charcoal grey exterior offset by an interior of soft greys and timber accents. The building will feature 60 apartments over nine floors, encompassing 15 one-bedroom units, 41 two-bedroom units and four three-bedroom apartments.

Every apartment will feature luxurious flooring, glass splashbacks in the kitchen, caesarstone bench tops and ducted air conditioning, as well as large windows allowing plenty of natural light. All abodes boast a private balcony with either sweeping city views or overlooking the lush greenery of the suburb, with a shared rooftop deck offering outdoor kitchen amenities, undercover dining space and panoramic views of Brisbane stretching all the way past the city to Mount Coot-tha. Oxy is due to be completed in mid-2017, head to the Oxy Apartments website to register your interest.
