Silk on Racecourse Road brings a touch of contemporary flair to Ascot

One of Brisbane’s most desirable areas is getting an extra dose of luxury with the forthcoming arrival of Silk, a modern and bold mixed-use bespoke development set to rise on the corner of Racecourse Road and Beatrice Terrace.

Nestled near Ascot’s hub of coffee, food and shopping, Silk on Racecourse Road is set to be one of the most in-demand developments in Brisbane. And for good reason – the mixed-use building will not only boast a stunning facade, but also top-of-the-line amenities, sublimely designed interiors and an unbeatable location close to the area’s hotspots. The building’s Loucas Zahos-designed architecture uses a range of contrasting materials, including concrete, timber, matte black metal, glass and stone. Existing jacaranda and Poinciana trees offset the subtle tones of the building, while key rooms are oriented to capture the best views available.

Silk will house 24 one, two and three-bedroom apartments across its top three floors, boasting contemporary design and an airy aesthetic thanks to full-height glass windows and outdoor spaces. Each abode features timber floors and kitchens equipped with Miele appliances. A ground-floor retail centre will further the rejuvenation of the area, complementing existing retail and hospitality locales. Silk on Racecourse Road is set to be completed in 2018 – head to the development’s website to register your interest.
