Five-star urban retreat The Westin opens its doors in Brisbane City

The Brisbane City hotel and hospitality landscape is about to get itself a brand-new player in the form of The Westin, a luxe new fixture from the world-renowned team at Marriott International. The hotel marks The Westin brand’s debut in Queensland, and you’d better believe it’s pulling out all the stops to impress. If the likes of next-level dining, a focus on wellness and pure resort-luxe vibes are up your alley, you might want to start planning your next staycation …

Situated on Mary Street, The Westin Brisbane is bringing a taste of five-star luxury to both locals and travellers in the CBD. The chain’s philosophy of incorporating natural features into its urban environments has carried over to this new location, with floor to ceiling windows throughout providing abundant light. The convenient location houses 299 guest rooms and suites, each with sweeping views of the city skyline from various vantage points. The $200 million hotel also boasts more than 930sqm of conference and events space kitted out with cutting-edge technology and features.

The Westin Brisbane has a clear health and wellness emphasis and is fully decked out with a WestinWORKOUT® fitness studio and Heavenly® Spa – Westin’s first in the whole country. A swimming pool and fitness centre will be home to yoga and Pilates classes, while guests can also take advantage of a genius ‘Run Concierge’ concept – that’s an in-house running buddy for anyone wanting some motivation. The hotel also brings with it a delicious dining offering made up of three onsite venues (including a baller swim-up pool bar) – you can take a closer look at our sneak peek here. The Westin is a part of mixed-use development Mary Lane, which is set to offer an array of luxe residences and game-changing dining options in the CBD in the future.

The Westin Brisbane opens its doors on Thursday November 8 – for more details and booking information, head to the website.
