If you’re not familiar with Art of the Palate, allow us to fill you in – the genius dining series is a perfect fusion of the finer things in life, celebrating Brisbane’s art and food scenes in perfect unison. Up until now, the series has focused strictly on the visual arts medium – but all of that is about to change with October’s featured artist. Diners will get the chance to view wearable art from Kristian Williams, the visionary artist-turned-designer behind the Bonita Kaftan collection.
Kristian’s bold, colourful and eye-popping designs will form the centrepiece of the evening, with Treasury Brisbane’s Fashion Ambassador Christie Sutherland taking on hosting duties (adorned in a Bonita piece, naturally). Patrons will be treated to a sumptuous four-course feast, matched perfectly with top drops from New Zealand winery Cloudy Bay. Margaux Brengel – Cloudy Bay’s brand ambassador – will be on hand to talk guests through the expertly curated wines available on the evening. As an extra-special treat, Kristian will be providing a sneak peek of his brand-new collection on the night – prepare for a stunning array of visuals.
Want to dine fine, fancy and fashionably for an evening? You can secure your place at the Art of the Palate through Treasury Brisbane.
