Let’s kick it off with the most important information – the Beer InCider Experience food and beverage offering. The festival is known for bringing us some of the top tastes from around the country but this year has gone next level with more than 50 independent breweries and cider makers pouring more than 300 tipples for you to try. Yikes! Pick up a tasting paddle on your way in and wander the stalls, pull up a chair under the fig trees at The Garden Bar or recline on a picnic rug with an espresso martini or prosecco – the possibilities are endless. Add food options from the likes of Mac From Way Back, Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers, Abbiocco Food Truck, The Cheeseboard plus loads more and it’s sounding more likely that you’ll have to have someone roll you home.
Another huge drawcard for the Beer InCider Experience is the live entertainment line-up, with this year being seriously impressive. Ball Park Music, City Calm Down, Cub Sport and Butterfingers will be split over the two nights as headliners, with a host of killer local support acts joining the bill. There’s plenty of tomfoolery to engage in with putt-putt, Berlin-style ping-pong, foosball and even one of those things that you whack with a giant mallet to prove how strong you are. Oh, and don’t even think about bringing cash – the festival is once again totally tap and go, so all you need is a Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card. Tokens be damned!
If this sounds like a little old slice of spring heaven to you, be sure to pick up your tickets to Beer InCider before they’re all gone – the pre-sale, first and second release drops flew off the proverbial shelves so this is your last chance.
