Tins and tunes – Beer InCider drops its music line-up for this year’s second instalment

Have you ever been to a festival so kick-ass that you wish it could happen more than once a year? Proving that you can never have too much of a good thing, the legends from Beer InCider are returning for a second coming in 2019 to deliver tins, tunes and good times galore. Heading to the Brisbane Showgrounds on September 20–21, the froth-fest has just released its hotly anticipated music line-up – and we venture to say it's one of the best yet.

As much as Beer InCider is about the amazing selection of craft beverages it champions, we would be lying if we said we didn’t get equally as excited over the festival’s music line-up – and this September’s offering is a total doozy. Friday night’s selection of artists leans heavily towards the hip-hop realm – industry favourites Thundamentals take out the headlining slot, with the incendiary Briggs and rapid-fire legend Jesswar rounding out the live-music portion of the evening. Saturday is skewed in a more indie-rock direction, boasting a huge roster of chart-topping Aussie talent to take in. Hockey Dad will be leading the bill on the night, bolstered by sets from the likes of Ruby FieldsDear SeattleCharlie Collins and VOIID.

Coming into its eighth rendition of the event, Beer InCider has well and truly proved its worth as a powerful player in the festival scene. Fusing the best in craft brewing and live music, the now twice-yearly event has grown into a favourite amongst both foodies and music lovers alike. As well as a showcase of Australia’s most unique and innovative brewers across the beer and cider realms, the festival brings together a range of mouth-watering food trucks and pop-up restaurants to create an all-around gourmand experience. Add ping-pong arenas, handball tournaments, a Brewer’s Stage dishing out insider knowledge plus live art installations and you’ve got a recipe for a killer weekend.

Are you frothing over this line-up? The first release of tickets to Beer InCider are on sale right now – snap yours up here.
