If you’re after the perfect way to kick off the silly season, this is your chance – head to Sanctuary Cove’s Christmas Carols and Buggy Parade on Thursday December 2 for the ultimate family-friendly evening. There’s also a bunch of free (yes, free!) entertainment from talented musicians from December 6–11 for the whole family to enjoy. Each day from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm visitors can enjoy live entertainment as they shop and dine, including roving nutcracker musicians wandering the Sanctuary Cove streets bringing all of the good vibes. The waterside precinct will be transforming into a festive wonderland, featuring a special North Pole mailbox, sparkling decorations and interactive Christmas displays. The kids will love Santa’s Sleigh and the enormous Cove Christmas Tree, plus Santa himself will even be there for photos in his candy dreamland! The fur babies don’t miss out, either – on Saturday December 11 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, pets can also visit Santa to capture a special Christmas memory of their own.
For your chance to give back this Christmas, Sanctuary Cove will host a charitable gift-wrapping station in support of the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation, helping to provide emergency accommodation to families who have loved ones in the Intensive Care and Trauma units. Make Christmas easy by picking up your gifts in Sanctuary Cove’s chic boutiques and get them gift wrapped while you’re there! You can also nab a ticket for the unmissable Amaroo Yacht Charter raffle to support the cause. You’ll also be rewarded for your Christmas shopping – from November 12, shoppers who spend $30 or more in participating retail stores will go in the draw to win a $100 Sanctuary Cove Gift Card each week. All entries will then go into a second-chance draw for a $500 gift card! Sounds like a jolly time to us.
