New year, same killer vibes – the first Falls Festival 2019 line-up has dropped

If you've been staring longingly at your mud-caked festival boots wondering when you'll have a chance to whip them out again, the wait is finally over – the first announcement of the Falls Festival 2019 line-up has just been announced.

So, who made it onto the Falls Festival 2019 line-up? Headlining the beloved New Year’s Eve-adjacent celebration will be pop royalty Halsey, NYC indie legends Vampire Weekend, plus Disclosure and Peking Duk. There are of course heaps more performances to pencil in, with PNAU, Of Monsters and Men, Lewis Capaldi, Milky Chance, John Farnham, BANKS, Dope Lemon, Vera Blue, Yungblud, G Flip, Crooked Colours, Parcels, Thelma Plum, #1 Dads, WAAX, Baker Boy, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Amyl & The Sniffers, The Japanese House, Pink Sweat$, Good Doogs, CXLOE and Totty all announced in the first drop. There are also special guests appearing for single shows, including Tash Sultana at Byron Bay, What So Not at Lorne, Wolfmother at Marion Bay and Matt Corby at Fremantle. This is just the first taste of what to expect, with more acts to be announced as the year goes on.

What better way to see out 2019 and welcome in a new set of Roaring Twenties than with the 27th annual Falls Festival, our favourite end-of-year instalment. Keen revellers can get their hands on tickets at 9:00 am on Wednesday August 14 (local time), or register for the Visa Checkout pre-sale tickets which go on sale at 9:00 am Monday August 12.
