Attention, carnivores – a feast of delectable meaty morsels is on the horizon for June 30 and it’s not to be scoffed at. It’s all happening at James Street steakhouse SK Steak & Oyster and will see Kelvin Andrews of SK fame host an evening of eats with friends Andrew Gunn from The Calile Hotel’s Lobby Bar, Louis Tikaram from Stanley, and Ben Williamson from Agnes and Bianca. This talented team of culinary heroes will be spotlighting produce from awarded Australian grain-fed beef brand Stockyard Beef, a highly regarded Darling Downs Producer revered for its use of sustainable farming practises.
The event will showcase Stockyard’s beef across six mouth-watering courses, all of which will be paired with top-tier Australian and international wines. Although the menu remains top secret, diners can expect a culturally diverse feast featuring salivation-inducing loin steaks and lesser-known cuts. The chefs will all be flaunting their unique culinary expertise – think flame-licked dishes ala Agnes, South-East Asian flavours as showcased at Stanley and masterfully curated seasonal delights as seen on Lobby Bar’s tantalising menus.
Tickets to this tastebud-tantalising event go on sale on Thursday June 10 and are available to purchase by calling SK Steak & Oyster during business hours from Monday to Friday on 07 3252 1857.
