As well as its specialty events, one of the coolest things about Good Food Month presented by Citi is its ability to make Brisbane’s fine-dining scene more accessible to everyone. An example of this is the Let’s Do Lunch program, which sees some of our city’s top restaurants dishing out delicious midday fare at a specially curated price of $38. This means you can indulge in an expertly crafted sit-down meal at spots like Montrachet, ARIA Brisbane and The Wolfe for a total steal.
The brains behind Good Food Month also recognise that nobody knows Brisbane food better than the restaurateurs themselves, so they have partnered with a range of our city’s best institutions for Friends of Good Food Month. This is a mouth-watering event series where restaurants are invited to curate and host their own unique experiences, letting the chefs themselves take charge of what they want to spotlight. Amongst some of the events are the Vive la Provence dinner at Urbane, The Catbird Seat Bistro’s Prix-Fixe lunch, Allium’s Taste of Queensland feast and oodles more – you can check out the full offering here.
This is just the cherry on top of the stacked sundae that is Good Food Month – for ticketing details and a full run-down of all the delicious things you can do, head to the official website.
