Have your mind melted with magic performed by The Illusionists: Direct From Broadway

When it’s done well, magic has the uncanny ability to turn even the most practical and sensible adults in the room into wide-eyed kids again. The older we get, truly eye-popping moments that make us think, “How the heck did they manage to do that?” are hard to come by – but The Illusionists: Direct From Broadway delivers these shockwaves in spades. Returning to QPAC for a strictly limited season from January 9, this band of world-class magicians will leave you with your jaw on the floor.

If you’re after an all-in magic experience with a bit of everything, The Illusionists truly delivers. The show brings with it a powerful mix of tricks that are all as unique as they are impressive, an award-winning formula that has seen it shatter box office records all around the world. Blending multiple disciplines such as large-scale stunts, levitation, mindreading, disappearance and daredevilry, The Illusionists show flows seamlessly from mind-melting deception to laugh-out-loud mischief.

The Illusionists crew is made up of seven super-talented individuals with a skill set that spans all realms of magic. Audiences might be surprised to note that one of the group is a Brisbane native – The Warrior (or Robyn Sharpe to friends) is an ex-gymnast with a crossbow act that toys with serious amounts of danger. The cast is bolstered by multi award-winning mentalist Chris Cox, the daring Leonardo Bruno (also known as The Alchemist), large-scale illusionist Mark Kalin/The Showman, theatrical ‘conjuress’ Jinger Leigh, and long-time futuristic manipulator Florian Sainvet. They are joined by ‘The Trickster’ Paul Dabek, the show’s comic relief and resident enchanter.

Ready to make some magic happen? You can snap up tickets to The Illusionists: Direct From Broadway through QPAC – grab one before they vanish before your eyes.
