If you’ve ever wandered around South Bank’s lush parklands during summertime, you’ve probably come across the Medibank Feel Good Program before. The concept is as simple as it is brilliant – anyone and everyone is welcome to participate in a wide range of fitness classes so suit, from low-impact exercises to more high-intensity vibes. The classes are held at various locations around South Bank (and a couple of cheeky spots in The City), so all you have to do is suss the timetable and show up at a class that tickles your fancy. No bookings required!
The Medibank Feel Good Program is built on a number of core classes that have proven to be quite popular in the past. Yoga, pilates and tai chi sessions are making a comeback for all of those keen to stretch it out and keep it chill, while those after something a little more sweaty can go for an energy, ZUMBA or bootcamp option. Mamas can get in on the action with a mums and bubs pilates class, while anyone chasing a cool-down with their warm-up can make a splash at aqua aerobics. This year the program has a hot new addition – say hello to barre, baby! If you haven’t tried it before, you can expect a floorwork fusion of pilates, yoga and dance that is guaranteed to get you feeling strong and flexible.
