If you’re ever taken a wander through the South Bank Parklands through spring, you are probably familiar with the Medibank Feel Good Program. People of all ages, shapes and sizes take to the lush lawns of the Parklands to partake in an awesome range of free fitness activities, with the aim to get people to enjoy exercise. This ain’t no amateur hour – each class is led by a qualified instructor, so you know you’re actually getting some physical benefit out of it. The classes are perfect for pretty much anyone keen to get moving and into fitness, with everything from low-intensity yoga to high-energy dance classes on offer – all for free.
This year’s Medibank Feel Good Program has eight stellar classes on offer, all at various times to suit that busy nine-to-five schedule. Get into gear with a Wednesday early-morning bootcamp, or slide into your weekend with some Saturday yoga or refreshing aqua aerobics. Other weeknight sessions include core strength, cardio and dance, so depending on what you’re feeling you can head along to as few or as many as you’d like. Those with little ones will be delighted to note that there is both a Mums and Bubs class for specialised post-natal toning, plus an Active Kids class for five to 12-year-olds to build up self-esteem and good habits. What a vibe!
All of these classes are totally free to attend and no bookings are required. To grab details of the full Medibank Feel Good Program, head to our Event Guide.
