Noosa Eat & Drink Festival brings beachside brunches, celebrity chefs and foodie fun to the coast

Get excited food-loving folks! Australia’s top-hatted chefs will touch down in the sunny coastal town of Noosa for the annual four-day Noosa Eat & Drink Festival from May 14–17. Whether you are looking for beachfront brunches, celebrity chef live cooking demonstrations, long lunches in the hinterland or boozy boat parties, the 2020 program is packed with things to do.

For four days, Noosa will turn into a foodie paradise when some of Australia’s finest culinary talent descends for the Noosa Eat & Drink Festival. The program will be pairing choice Noosa restaurants with world-class chefs, the best local artisan produce, interactive masterclasses and live entertainment for a bonanza. Homegrown heroes will work with interstate icons across a series of on-off collaborative events, with the likes of Embla’s Dave Verheul manning the pans at Wood Fire GrillAlanna Sapwell (ARC Dining) teaming up with former boss David Rayner at Thomas Corner Eatery, Supernormal’s Ben Pollard posting up at Wasabi and Louis Tikaram (Stanley) and Ben Bertie (sAme sAme) joining Shane Bailey at the Noosa Boathouse.

International figures will also be making the trek to our sandy shores, with Italian culinary royalty Carlo Cracco pairing with Australia’s own Guy Grossi for Sapori Di Italia: The Taste of Italy dinner, while chef Rishi Naleendra of Singapore’s Cloudstreet will team up with Peter Kuruvita at Noosa Beach House for the Silk Roads to the Spice Islands dinner. If you’re keen to party, television stars Miguel Maestre and George Calombaris will host a Mediterranean cocktail party on the beautiful Noosa River, while events such as beachside sundowners, cabana soirees, Miami Vice-themed after parties and champagne-fuelled revelry will help you make the most of Noosa’s carefree culture.

We’ve only scratched the surface of what’s in store at Noosa Eat & Drink Festival. To register for tickets and to peep the full festival schedule, visit the festival website.
