Folks, let’s be real – the best Instagram content can sometimes take work. As much as we love a good candid, we’ve all experienced the frustration of doing 43 takes to get the perfect Boomerang or making our mates stand in the middle of a road to capture our best angles with a cool backdrop. If you are the sort of person who is forever scouting for the perfect photo opp, we have some news that is bound to excite you. For one day only, The Pop Up Studios will be taking over the iconic Gasworks Plaza to create a series of bespoke backgrounds and experiences that will have your IG notifications blowing up.

The Pop Up Studios will turn the already stunning Gasworks Plaza into a proper destination for dreamy Instagram content. There will be six stunning backgrounds and experiences to choose from on the day, each with a different vibe. First up is the vibrant sunflower field, which will utilise 100 real flowers to create that perfect spring aesthetic. The second option is a Yeezy-style set-up complete with a real Indian motorcycle and wind machine (yasss), plus a full-blown glamour shoot with beauty touch-ups from Terry White Chemmart to keep you camera-ready – and more where that came from.

It’s not just about making your feed look amazing – The Pop Up Studios will also be hosting a bunch of other awesome activations on the day. There will be live tunes pumping to set the vibe, as well as delicious food to keep you feeling well and truly satiated – because nobody looks cute when they’re hangry. Snap-happy patrons can also win hundreds of dollars’ worth of prizes just for uploading their pictures from the day (as if you weren’t going to anyway).
