Add a touch of waterfront luxe to your festive season with A Sanctuary Cove Christmas

When it comes to Christmas, Sanctuary Cove certainly doesn't do things by halves. The thriving precinct already has a reputation for throwing some sterling seasonal celebrations, so it comes as no surprise that the return of A Sanctuary Cove Christmas was something we keenly marked in our calendars. From Monday December 11 to Friday December 15, the luxury master-planned community will be overtaken with jolly vibes and loads of free family-friendly fun.

A Sanctuary Cove Christmas packs a lot into its program, with special events happening all throughout the week. The Christmas Carnival will be running every day in The Marine Village, transforming the area into a festive wonderland loaded with family-friendly fun for all ages – think train rides, animal farms, face painting, circus workshops and jumping castles. Once again, Santa’s Grotto will be open for business so you can get a special snap with the man himself – did we mention that pets are welcome too? The awesome Dinner By Candlelight returns to The Marine Village on the Wednesday evening, with selected restaurants dimming the lights for a night of enchanting ambience. You can expect to be treated to an indulgent Christmas-inspired feast put on by the likes of Ioesco, Black Angus and Thai House.

Thursday evening will see the free Carols on the Green concert light up the Village Green with a line-up of stellar live entertainment. Kicking off at 5:30 pm, the evening will include jubilant performances by the Swing Force Big Band, the Paradise Carollers, plus Frosty the Snowman with his rendering of the classic Christmas jams we know and love. Be sure to hang around for the intermission to catch the buggy parade and a special performance by everyone’s favourite Man in Red (and Rudolph, of course). If you need to tick some names off your gift list, the Village Night Markets will also be happening on the Thursday between 5:30–8:00 pm – shop from boutique pop-ups along the boardwalk and nab some seriously cool presents.

A Sanctuary Cove Christmas is free to attend – for more details, head to our Event Guide.
