That’s right – for one day only, Sea to the City will be popping up to showcase some of the freshest local catches from around the area, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Brisbane River. The afternoon will be filled with oysters and bugs galore, as well as a range of other fresh and tasty treats with an ocean-inspired spin. Delicious food isn’t the only thing on offer – fine wine, live tunes and unbeatable views will complement the tasty fare to create a buzzing afternoon loaded with atmosphere.
When it comes to the food at Sea to the City, some of the riverside’s best and most innovative outlets will be plating up on the day. A total of 14 fabulous restaurants will be taking place in the trail, putting forward specially curated menus to showcase fresh seafood items. The roll call for the day is peppered with a great mix of places, from fine-dining powerhouses to street-food experts and more laid-back eateries. Snack and sample your way along the river with bites from Il Centro, Madame Wu, Sake, Pony Dining, Cha Cha Char, Kingsleys Brisbane, Riverbar & Kitchen, Jellyfish, Blackbird Bar & Grill, Navala Churrascaria, Friday’s Riverside, Pig ‘n’ Whistle Riverside, Riverland and Customs House.
