So Frenchy So Chic returns to the Powerhouse with the smokin’ hot sounds of Clara Luciani

There are certain things about Brisbane summer that we hang out for every year – the long days, the hot nights and So Frenchy So Chic are just a few of the things that make this time of year so magical. This year’s edition of the Euro-inspired music showcase sees the inimitable Clara Luciani headed to the Brisbane Powerhouse for one dreamy performance only – so clear Sunday January 20 in your diary and prepare to swoon.

When it comes to aesthetics, Clara Luciani gives off that quintessential French vibe – from her kohl-rimmed eyes to her heavy fringe and vintage style, everything about her is just so effortlessly chic. The Marseilles-born artist has been influenced by some of the most captivating French performers across history – think Françoise Hardy, Jane Birkin, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Emilie Simon – and this array of muses comes across in her stage presence.

Clara Luciani cut her teeth as a member of the group La Femme, another alum of the So Frenchy So Chic roster of previous years. A love of cool basslines and indie vibes gives her sound a distinct danceable groove, which lends itself well to her truly magnetic stage presence. As a self-proclaimed pleasurist, Clara’s music has heralded a new age in French pop – be sure to wear your dancing shoes, because this is one show you won’t be able to sit still for.

Ready to be seduced by the sounds of Clara Luciani? You can nab tickets to So Frenchy So Chic through Brisbane Powerhouse – snap one up before they all disappear.
