Returning for its fourth year, the Stones Corner Festival has gained a reputation as one of Brisbane’s favourite events on the social calendar – and it’s not hard to see why. The 2017 edition hype kicked up a notch when Aussie legends Regurgitator were confirmed as headliners, and the goodness continues with sets from I Heart Hiroshima, Sahara Beck, Hemingway and The Stress of Leisure just to name a few. As well as the live entertainment offering there will also be a curated selection of market stalls selling local and handmade goods, plus plenty of activities to keep the kids occupied.
Hungry (and thirsty) patrons will be more than catered for at Stones Corner Festival, with the food offering expanding considerably this year. The licensed area is bigger than ever before and a giant new beer garden has been added, meaning plenty more room to get your party on. A strong showing of home-grown brewers such as Pirate Life, Ballistic Beer and Newstead Brewing Co. are joined by food truck favourites How We Rolls, That BBQ Joint, The Frying Piggy and Greek Street Kantina to keep crowds fed and watered.
If you’re keen to make the long weekend count, entry to the Stones Corner Festival is totally free and the event will be running from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm in the hub of Stones Corner.
