If you’ve been hanging out for some live-music action, clear your calendar – The Zoo will open its doors to live-music lovers once again from July 11. To celebrate the momentous occasion, they’ve compiled one heck of a showcase that will span 30 dates from mid-July through to early-September and shine a light on homegrown talent including the likes of Butterfingers, BUGS, Resin Dogs, Asha Jeffries, The Dreggs and Bearfoot, to name a few.
The catch? To comply with social-distancing requirements that are still in place, each gig is capped at 100 patrons at a time. The upside for you is that the scaled-back shows are an opportunity to see some of your favourite local bands in a much more intimate setting than ever before. Anti-Social will allow for two separate groups to enter the venue per night with activities including ping pong, pool tables and bowling to keep you entertained in between sets. As you can imagine, the tickets are in hot demand and plenty of gigs have already sold out so if you’re keen to head along, jump over to The Zoo’s website and nab some tickets post haste.
