Our calendars are brimming with cultural must-dos over the next few months but we’re making special room for Metro Arts’ Where We Meet, which will be gracing the stage from May 31 to June 4. A music-fuelled experience, Where We Meet blends live looping, opera, electronica, beat boxing, Samoan language and hip-hop tunes. In other words, it’s a must-see musical experience like no other combined with creative cultural storytelling – and it’s one you won’t want to miss.

The show stars dynamite duo Dr Eve Klein (a second generation Maltese Australian composer, vocalist, and music technologist) and Taitu’uga Kitch Wesche (a Samoan High Talking Chief, songwriter, musician, actor and performer), who, although an unlikely pairing, have come together on a journey that shares a common theme – cultural connection. With awe-inspiring performances, cultural practice and captivating true stories, Eve and Taitu’uga shine a light on the universal longing for connection in this genre-defying showcase.
