Halfway have started their own festival – Autumn Fall 2019. Autumn Fall comprises of two stages showcasing 10 amazing acts.
Not only to celebrate and curate Brisbane music, but to create an event where we can play with our friends every year.
The Triffid is Halfway’s home ground. It’s a venue they love to play, especially as one of their records is up there on the Triffid’s “Wall of Fame”. Bands that they love and admire such as Wilco, My Morning Jacket, War On Drugs and The Decemberists have all created their own annual festivals.
The 2019 Autumn Fall bands are indie and/or alt-country. They are a mix of young talent whom Halfway loves, like Sunny Flynn Hugo, or successful established artists bands like Even, whom they have admired for many years. The event features 10 bands across two stages and will be MC’d by Brisbane born writer and DJ Clinton Walker. The day includes a vinyl record store, markets and a clairvoyant.
The first 300 tickets come with a free Autumn Fall CD of rare tracks from Autumn Fall’s lineup of Australian artists.
