Dendy is very excited to be screening the Celebrate! Studio Ghibli Showcase at Dendy Portside in August and September. A number of these films are very rarely screened on the big screen and some of the English language versions have never been seen in cinemas. The films will play in Japanese with English subtitles and there will also be some films available with English dub – these will be listed as such on the website. There are 24 titles in all that will be screening and sessions are now on sale, so don’t miss out! Catch favourites like Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Ponyo and Howl’s Moving Castle amongst a host of other amazing titles, as well as documentaries Isao Takahata and His Tale of the Princess Kaguya as well as The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness.
