Learn new technology, identify local organisms and contribute to an international biodiversity database. You’ll be led by an experienced environmental scientist who will help you identify plants and animals.

Help monitor the biodiversity along the 2-kilometre Billai Dhagun Track, observe the several different vegetation communities, from eucalyptus forest to mangroves and saltmarsh. Your guide will highlight points of interest and help identify plants and animals you may see along the way, showing you how to use iNaturalist technology.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site. Note: Any walks or outside activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
