There’s something truly magical about being surrounded by thousands of candles all flickering to their own beat. Almost like a silent symphony of light designed to mesmerise and enchant all those who witness it. If this sounds like your cup of tea, you’re invited to celebrate winter in the Tote Room and experience its transformation into a magical candlelit wonderland on Saturday August 4 at Eagle Farm Racecourse.

Thousands of candles light the way to a decadent evening of fine dining and spellbinding entertainment, all while sipping on a belly-warming beverage with friends. The fiery theme continues through to the menu with mulled spiced wine, free-flowing beverages and some of South East Queensland’s finest seasonal produce. Start with an entree of charred lamb with endive, radicchio and roast beetroot before moving onto a main of slow-braised osso bucco with truffled polenta or porcini mushroom risotto and finishing with warm sour cherry clafoutis with double cream. The venue’s amazing magician will be roaming around performing astonishing tricks and the DJ will be spinning the tracks until late.
