It’s been a big couple of months for King Street, but the booming strip has one more arrival up its sleeve before the end of the year. A little while back we told you about the forthcoming opening of Rockpool Dining Group’s colourful Tex-Mex eatery El Camino Cantina, and now we’ve got news of the 300-seat venue’s opening celebrations.

El Camino Cantina will open to the public on Friday November 30, and will commence a three-day fiesta to celebrate its launch. Festivities will commence on Friday night with a ticketed party complete with Tex-Mex bites, margaritas, and more, while the rest of the weekend will offer up great deals on El Camino Cantina’s food (we’re talking tacos, buffalo wings, chargrilled fajitas, fat burritos and more), colourful sombreros, DJs at night, and the unveiling of El Camino’s weekend brunch menu.
