State Library of Queensland’s Entwined exhibition spotlights the transformative works of award-winning creatives who have documented Australian plant life. The exhibition will also dig in to State Library’s rare botanical collections, exploring our day-to-day connection with plants and unfurling fascinating fun facts in the process. Highlights of the flora-focused exhibition include Man & Wah’s immersive floral-inspired videography, Donna Davis’ creative plant displacements, Joseph Banks’ Florilegium and the eye-catching works of Ferdinand Bauer.

To celebrate the opening of Entwined, State Library of Queensland will be hosting some special festivities – including a mini market and workshops that will explore the relationship between people and plants. If you want to delve deeper into this bloomin’ great exhibition, you can even hop on a curator’s tour and learn some behind-the-scenes secrets too. Entwined: plants and people will be running from June 12 to November 14. To learn more about this colourful showcase, pop over to State Library of Queensland’s website.
