Following FOMO‘s mammoth line-up announcement, Australian summer festival favourite with no clashes, the festival team has revealed Brisbane as the first stop on the FOMO By Night trail for 2019, following announced FOMO By Night shows in Auckland and Perth. Due to overwhelming demand, and a sold out day time instalment, FOMO By Night will be Brisbane’s second chance and only opportunity for all ages to catch the FOMO action with Nicki Minaj, Lil Pump, Mura Masa, San Holo, Miss Blanks, MIMI & Eljae set to perform at Brisbane Showgrounds on Friday January 4.
Leading the bill for Brisbane is FOMO headliner and superstar MC, Nicki Minaj. One of the world’s most influential hip-hop artists and undisputed queens of rap, Nicki has set up residency on music charts worldwide, collecting Billboard Music Awards, BET Awards and numerous Grammy Award nominations along the way. South Florida’s Lil Pump will join Minaj, showcasing his charismatic repertoire and viral hits, including “Gucci Gang”, “I Love It” and “Esskeetit” for FOMO By Night in Brisbane.
Multi-instrumentalist and producer Mura Masa will give FOMO by Night-goers a dose of his signature tropical-inflected house, including catchiest disco number of the year, “Til The World Falls” with Nile Rodgers, Chic and Nao. Adding to the pack, is Dutch electronic connoisseur San Holo, whose experimental finesse will fill the Showgrounds with creatively daring EDM. Miss Blanks will deliver her fierce vocals to a hometown crowd, while the infectiously enthusiastic MIMI will guide a set of genre-pushing, party starting tunes. Rounding out the line-up is Brisbane’s own local legend, Eljae to have the crowd bouncing along to her fiery future bass mixes.
