The 16th Annual Gambaro Mud Crab Cup, proudly supporting The Courier Mail Children’s Fund is just around the corner!

8 nail-biting races will take place throughout the day to crown the winner of the Mud Crab Cup. Armed with a supersoaker, get your mud crab crawling its way to the finish line and to glory. All mud crabs purchased can be kept by the owner.

Thanks to everyone’s support last year, we managed to raise $55,000.00¬ for a charity that is near and dear to the Gambaro Family’s heart, The Courier Mail Children’s Fund.

On Sunday the 24th of February, our bigger and better than ever event is back!

Doors open from 11:00am, with Brisbane local’s ‘Groove Elements’ playing on arrival.

Enjoy a sensational 3-course lunch, with live entertainment, prizes to be won and of course, 8 ‘claw’-biting races.

Catch all the action live on the big screens inside Gambaro Seafood Restaurant, or get amongst the action on the MG Bar Terrace.

We have two packages available for the day; a 3 hour food and beverage package for $149.00 per person starting from 12:00pm or alternatively, the food only package for $109.00 per person. Please note that all members of your reservation must be on the same package; no split package reservations will be available.

Why not get even closer to the action by purchasing your very own mud crab to enter into the races on the day for $250.00! Proceeds from all crabs purchased will be donated to The Courier Mail Children’s Fund.

Unlike any other event on Brisbane’s social calendar, the 16th Annual Gambaro Mud Crab Cup is definitely one not to be missed.
