Retaining its reputation as the finest reggae, soul and dub event in Australia, Island Vibe Festival returns for its 13th year! Our festival has a strong eco and cultural focus, and is unparalleled by any Australian festival in its majestic location and experience.

Island Vibe is held at the stunning beachside location of Point Lookout on Stradbroke Island – known as Minjerribah to the Quandamooka people Indigenous to the region. The second largest sand island in the world, Minjerribah is renowned world-wide for its beaches, beauty and chilled atmosphere.

Island Vibe Festival itself spans four glorious spring days at the end of the whale migration season, playing host to over 80 bands, DJs, dance and circus acts from around Australia, the Pacific and beyond.

Island Vibe is known for hosting some of the world’s best reggae and roots acts – however we strive to bring you a kaleidoscope of musical styles, from soul, folk, world music to bass heavy glitch hop, dancehall and drum n Bass. Without a doubt 2018 is looking to be one of our mightiest and diverse line ups yet!
