The Lanes (Bakery Lane, Winn Lane and California Lane) will kick off the festive season with a Plant and Homewares Market on Saturday November 24. Get excited, as this will be the first in a series of market events running from Saturday November 24 to Saturday December 15 to celebrate the festive season and the return of a A Very Laneway Christmas.
Following the very successful Urban Plant Market in Bakery Lane in 2016, The Lanes will bring back a revamped offering in partnership with Max and Mort, Future = Female, Alice Nightingale and Botanical Lab. The markets will consist of interactive stalls, workshops and showcases for plants, interiors, decorations and craft. There are more than 32 stallholders ranging from plants, flowers and ceramics to candles and homewares.
Stall holders include Hunchmark Ceramics, Cracklab Ceramics, Art 4 Ages Ceramics, Muditā Ceramics Qld, Botanic Box, Planet Hostile, Rebel Luxe Co. , emmalouise dècor Candles, Mandelle & Co, Max and Mort, Pots from Rocket and Rose Homewares, Ritule Ceramics, Made With Grace – Handmade Succulents & Terrariums, Plants from Botanical Lab, Claudia De Salvo Ceramics, Yopie Creates and The Flower Source.
Workshops will be held across Bakery Lane and Winn Lanes all day.
- Seed Bomb Workshop – held by Plot Australia from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in Bakery Lane
- Terrariums Workshops – held by Made with Grace from 1:00–2:00 pm in Bakery Lane
- Free Plant Potting – held by Botanical Lab, all day in Bakery Lane
- Free Plant Potting – held by Max and Mort, all day in Winn Lane
- Terrarium Workshops – held by Max and Mort from 10:00–11:00 am in Winn Lane
Dance up a storm while you shop with live beats by A Love Supreme from 12:00–2:00 pm in Winn Lane or boogie on over to Bakery Lane where The Wet Fish will perform from 1:30–3:30 pm.
