It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Brisbane City and what better way to kick off the festive season than with the iconic Lord Mayor’s Lighting of the Christmas Tree presented by The Lott by Golden Casket. 

Taking place on Friday December 1, the Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner will illuminate the iconic 22-metre tree of twinkling lights located in King George Square. Accompanying him will be live musical performances of all your festive favourites that are guaranteed to have you rockin’ around the Christmas tree. You won’t want to miss this magical launch to Brisbane’s Christmas festivities! Following the official lighting, the Christmas tree will remain in King George Square throughout the silly season for all to enjoy.
