On the eve of their third international tour, during which the Sunshine Coast’s Oriana Choir will perform in some of the beautiful cathedrals and concert houses of Italy, Oriana Choir and the Sunshine Coast Youth Choir present Lux Aeterna (Eternal Light), a sublime collection of beautiful sacred and spiritual music, conducted by Matthew Collins and accompanied by Fay Baker. Showcasing Oriana’s inimitable a’capella treatment of melodic and harmonic masterpieces from the choral works of Mozart, Rachmaninoff,, Elgar, Palestrina, Bruckner and others; with songs spanning 4 centuries of inspiring music; this will be a musical experience to delight the ear, calm the soul and soothe the spirit.
