Tickets

available through IMA

Join artist Marianna Simnett in conversation with a crow titled ‘Birds scream at the top of their lungs in horrified hellish rage every morning at daybreak to warn us all of the truth, but sadly we don’t speak bird’. Through bird screams and flute refrains, they tell stories about silence, listening, muteness, queerness, and love.

This is an adapted version of the performance ‘Birds scream…’ that Simnett first presented at E.A.T. / Engadin Art Talks on 25 January 2020, in Zuoz, Switzerland. The title is a quote by the late musician Kurt Cobain.

This is a free event — all are welcome.
