Brisbane locals are pretty spoilt for choice when it comes to amazing Melbourne Cup parties but if you’re looking for a truly memorable race day experience, book a table at Persone. Last year’s inaugural event set the bar pretty high and this year it’s set to up the ante once again with a lavish three-course sit-down lunch and three-hour beverage package for $149 per person, which also includes a glass of sparkling on arrival.

Diners will enjoy a selection of Persone’s signature dishes including barramundi with polenta and pepparonata and grilled lamb cutlets with new potatoes, rocket, salsa verde alongside free-flowing Peroni, prosecco sparkling, sauvignon blanc and shiraz.

The fanciful event will be hosted by Channel 9’s Jonathan Uptin and will have live coverage of the big race with screens visible from every table, live entertainment, raffles and of course, Fashions on the Field.
