Renae is a young mother who learns she can’t rely on her video-game addicted husband. Stella is an overqualified, underemployed phone sales worker who loves to write music. Evie has long concealed her sexuality but a budding romance creates tension with her conservative mother.

The book, music and lyrics were written by local Brisbane composer, Anina-Marie Warrener. Her work captures exaggerated true experiences and cuts to the core of the hearts of young women. This is a brave new musical theatre work that challenges the norms of the genre.
