In a concert which celebrates our connections to the environment, the orchestra will explore music which champions aspects of the world around us. During this stunning soundscape, we invite you to close your eyes and envisage yourself immersed in nature.

Conducted by Peter Luff, this exciting program includes Resphigi’s “Pines of Rome” and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony no.1, entitled “Winter Dreams”. The orchestra will also be joined by emerging soloists Kira Dooner, soprano, and Cameron Bryer, tenor, along with a 120 voice adult and children’s choir from the Voices of Birralee to perform “River Symphony” (Rockhampton Gardens Symphony no.2) by celebrated Australian composer, Elena Kats-Chernin AO.
