Plastic Free July is a global movement encouraging millions of people all around the to reduce our consumption of single use plastic. Join us for a two hour workshop filled with science, tips, tricks and local knowledge to help you (and your family) ditch plastic in July and find sustainable changes to keep going forward.

In this science filled workshop we’ll look at:
– The impact that plastic is having globally
– How the components of plastic don’t just affect our external environment, but also our internal environment
– How to reduce plastic in our food consumption, toiletries and general hygiene (including how to make some of your own products), cleaning products and in our daily lives
– Making your own beauty products, toothpaste, cleaning products and more
– Information on where to shop and how to make simple requests at businesses to help this challenge stick!

Our aim is to create a true community here at Stretch dedicated to sharing ideas and knowledge about how to live a healthier and more sustainable life! We’ll have a celebration at the end at Three Brews (downstairs at our Holland Park studio) where we’ll be able to meet again in person and share how proud we all are of what we’ve done!

Includes:
– Two hour workshop
– Canvas tote bag (valued at $10)
– Stretch glass water bottle (valued at $18)
– Challenge celebration party at Three Brews on Sunday July 28 at 5:30 pm
– Access to our online Sustainability community for the challenge (and beyond)
