Lyne Marshall is a modern artist traveller whose explorations, and the experiences encountered in the landscape, provide the inspiration for her artworks.
The RE: Location exhibition and accompanying book capture Lyne’s experiences researching her family history and travelling to ancestral locations in the United Kingdom in a bid to understand her heritage and to feel a connection with her ancestors. The exhibition incorporates three types of artworks: one evokes the migrations story, another explores settlement in Australia and a third embraces the artist’s love of Australia’s wild landscape, her ancestors’ legacy to her.
