The Technicolour Multicultural Festival returns to Newmarket for its 11th year, with this year’s theme being Unity. This festival held on Saturday August 26 brings people together from various communities, both cultural and geographic. It creates a space for communities to showcase their multicultural spirit and express their uniqueness through live cultural performances, international cuisines and so much more.

From 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Newmarket’s Foster Street will be filled with fun and family-friendly activities, as well as a dedicated FUN ZONE which hosts an array of festival favourites including laser tag, face painting, a bungee trampoline, a petting zoo and wonderful workshops, just to name a few. Dig into treats and eats from a host of food joints and enjoy the serene sounds of live entertainment and performances making for a supremely splendid Saturday. This event is free entry. If you want to access the Fun Zone, a $5 fee is required and then you are on your way to a day of unlimited fun.
