The James Morrison Quartet is one of the world’s most in demand jazz ensembles. The group, a trio of jazz guitar, jazz bass and drums, has been performing with James Morrison, wowing audiences and making award winning music in its current formation since early 2015. In that short time, the group has taken the international music scene by storm appearing at major world festivals such as the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall in London with jazz superstar Dianne Reeves and the BBC Concert Orchestra; the Prague Proms Festival at Smetna Hall with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra; the Festival of Jazz de Valencia at the Palau de la Musica in Spain; the National Arts Festival in South Africa; the Melbourne International Jazz Festival with Grammy Award winning diva Patti Austin and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and International Jazz Day with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra at the Adelaide Festival Theatre and Grammy Award winning artist Gordon Goodwin.
