Grab your mates and lace up those joggers – The Sunday Mail Transurban Bridge to Brisbane returns for its 27th year on Sunday October 15.
Take on the iconic Gateway Bridge for the 10-km or pound the pavement along Kingsford Smith Drive for the 4.5-km as you join up to 30,000 participants for Brisbane’s largest running and community event. Both races will wrap up at the Finish Village at Brisbane Showgrounds, where you’ll be met with a hive of celebration and entertainment.
Early bird entries will cost you $52 for the 4.5-km and $62 for the 10-km and score you a Bridge to Brisbane shirt, race number, timing chip, free public transport to and from the event and for the first time ever, an exclusive event medal to keep the memory of Race Day alive.
Whether you want to smash a personal goal or continue a tradition, Bridge to Brisbane asks you to walk, run or roll for a cause and raise funds for your favourite charity. This year, the event aims to beat last year’s record of $1.2 million in fundraising for charities across the country.
So run (don’t walk!) and secure your spot at the Start Line. Head to the Bridge to Brisbane website to register, support a participant or donate to a charity close to your heart.
